It has been 5 months on the waitlist! It has actually gone by pretty fast between keeping boys busy, working, fundraising and summer trips, but still trying to be patient in waiting. Our "girl" room is completely finished, I even bought the letters for what we are naming her- but Ian won't let me put those up quite yet. Our love is growing even stronger as we wait for this daughter we have not yet met and it has given us time to think and pray for her birth mom and what she is going through.
The boys are so excited for a sister, whenever they see something pink they want me to buy it for her. Everything we are doing this year we imagine what it will be like with her being a part of our family next year. It will be another 3-5 months till we receive a referral (november-Januaryish) But really wanting a referral before Christmas! That would be a great gift. It got me pretty excited to go into Costco and see halloween costumes and a ribbon decorating box, fall will be here soon!
