We just got back from a fun weekend in San Diego visiting family there. We celebrated my mom's birthday and watched my brother compete in a sprint triathlon. We are home now, unpacking, checking emails and I just found an email from our adoption agency. On the Girls waitlist we are now #.....

On our way to San Diego we stopped in L.A.'s "Little Ethiopia" for lunch. It was so fun and the food was yummy! It was very unique the "bread" was made from Tef, which is similar to millet or quinoa and cooked to look like a thicker crepe. We ordered 3 meals: a vegetarian, chicken, and beef dish. I couldn't tell you all that was in there but the cook said lentils, okra, green beens.. and much more. We might make this stop ever time we travel south!
