We got fingerprinted for our i-600 Petition for Orphan! They did not allow cell phones or camera's in the building, so we are trying to capture the moment outside. This is one of the final forms that will make us eligible to adopt when we get a referral! I am still slowly understanding this whole process. We are thankful for all those who have paved the way and give us advice! When we started this process getting these fingerprints seemed so far away, we can't believe we are here already! Next month should be the start of two trips to Ethiopia so we will be following other families who will be going through court and the traveling. Nothing is for sure with international adoption but at this point we are estimating getting a referral mid-late Fall and two trips later bring her home in the very beginning of 2011! (although I still am praying she'll be here by Christmas)

YES!!! It was such a sign of relief when we got our FBI prints. I know exactly how you feel!!! Soo exciting!
