When we were choosing international agencies for our process we had a few in mind. People are always asking me, "How do you choose which to go with?" I wasn't sure until I read the book "The Strength of Mercy" written by one of the founders of AGCI. I connected with her and this book because, just like her daughter, I had gone on missions trips then went to a Torchbearer Bible School in Europe around the same age she was. Jan Beazely wrote down what God was saying to her heart, I felt the same thing while reading it. We hadn't really known anyone that had adopted internationally and we were nervous to start the process because of the cost. But God is faithful and He did make a way, where there was no way I saw- we have raised almost the complete amount needed for this adoption $30,000. We did put in some hard fundraiser hours, but looking back it happened so fast!
