Yes, its true.. we are

Do you hear the excited screams.. the tears of joy..

I have had this heartburn/butterfly type feeling in my stomach for a couple days, knowing my sweet daughter is at HH and knowing we are so close.. but still not knowing anything. It is hard to be #2. I have only been #1 for half a day but I feel like it is more peaceful being next even though we don't know when we will get that call.  I was told by my friend Jill (who Was one ahead of me on the list) that she got her referral today. She has boys the same age as mine and we are so excited they have just been matched with an adorable little girl!

Thank you for waiting with us and praying for us and our daughter. We will see her soon!

and for those of you wondering it goes like this.

#1- wait for the call to be matched with your child

#2 - discuss with international pediatrician and fill out acceptance paperwork

#3 - Be filed for court date (could be 1-4 weeks)

#4 - Get Court date (1 month down the road maybe)

#5 - Go to Ethiopia for that Court date, hopefully pass and she is legally ours, but then fly home without her.

#6 - get Embassy date - Fly over for that date and then bring her home that trip.
