We are so excited and ready to meet our baby girl/sister and want her to be home already. Parker slept in what will be her room the other night. When he woke up in the morning and ran in our room the first thing he said was that he had a dream about his sister. Unfortunately he couldn't remember what it was about. A couple nights a week we lay on the bed in her room and read a children's book about Ethiopia, then Parker prays for his sister. It is so cute to hear him pronounce E-thee-opia. I got on Amazon this morning to buy a new book for us to read together and got a little carried away. There are so many great books. Here are the four I just bought!! I have always wanted to write and illustrate a children's book. That might be next years project because there are lots on chinese adoption books but I would love to make a good african adoption book!
A Mother for Choco - Keiko Kasza
Over the Moon: An Adoption Tale - Karen Katz
Handbook on Thriving as an Adoptive Family: Real-Life Solutions to Common Challenges - David Sanford

So awesome to read that our Parker is praying for the new baby sister. YOU are doing a great job preparing the kids to meet her. I, also, can't wait!!
